Narratives of Impact team meets in a Living Lab

A few months passed since the last meeting in Valladolid and partners were hosted by CRN in Berlin. A team of twelve people from the United Kingdom (People’s Voice Media), Germany (CRN), Italy (COSV – Coordinamento delle Organizzazioni per il Servizio Volontario), Poland (SNDE) and Spain (INTRAS Foundation) got together in the Atelier Talk – Kiryakova, a cosy design studio in Wedding, Berlin. The meeting took the form of a Living Lab - a very fluid concept of a space for co-creation where participants combined the learning from the previous training in Spain, stakeholder engagement feedback, and the partner's expertise to further develop the toolkit and its content. A new exciting training in Valladolid!

Coinciding with the end of March, Fundaciòn Intras received the partners of the NOI project in Valladolid to continue working on methodologies that make narrative a valid tool for measuring impact and social change. The face-to-face meeting took place in the Santa Lucía #MeetingPoint, the first headquarters of the INTRAS Foundation. It is where nowadays the Departments of Community Support and Personal Assistance are centralized and it serves as a meeting point between the Day Center, users, families and professional support. The three days of scheduled training have been used to share and test the toolkit that will serve as the basis for the development of a video guide, whose objective is to support people and organizations in the use of digital stories…

#NOI meeting project in Sopot (Poland)

#NOI meeting project in Sopot (Poland) In this case, it was a meeting face to face :-) On the 24th-25th of November, on the shores of the Baltic Sea in Sopot (Poland), we organized a partnership meeting of the project NARRATIVES OF IMPACT. It wouldn't be surprising, if not for the fact that the COVID-19 pandemic reduced meetings to contacts through digital tools, and face to face meetings are not everyday life but rather a nice privilege. Ten people from Poland, Germany, Italy, Great Britain and Spain participated in the meeting. The project aims to understand how we can use digital stories to make an impact at local, national and pan-European levels and explore how stories can be used by activist groups to…

The first output of the “Narratives of Impact” project it’s now out!

The first output of the "Narratives of Impact" project it's now out!  The Narratives of Impact (NOI) project aims to create a shift in the perception about storytelling, not only as a powerful tool for creating social change but also for measuring the impact and the change. We want to understand how people can use digital stories to create impact at local, national and pan-European levels, and also how activist groups use stories to create communities of change. That is why we have created the first output of the project and we have explored how lived experience can be used to create better connections between social services and their users. In the past months, together with our partners, we have conducted a desk-based…
